Once upon a time, in a vibrant magical forest full of whispering trees, glittering streams, and colorful flowers, lived a cheerful little dog named Bluey. Bluey was seven years old and loved going on adventures with her friends. One sunny day, Bluey noticed a group of animals gathered by a towering oak tree on the edge of the forest. They were chattering excitedly, but one little rabbit named Benny looked sad and stood off to the side. Bluey’s heart sank seeing Benny alone, and she decided to find out what was wrong.

Bluey trotted over to Benny, noticing his droopy ears and downcast eyes. "Hey Benny! Why are you so sad?" she asked. Benny sighed, "It’s because everyone wants to play a game called 'Chase the Butterfly,' but I’m too small to catch anything. I feel left out and just… sad." Bluey thought for a moment. She remembered how her older sister would remind her that sometimes it helps to express how we feel. So, she said, "But, Benny, your speed can help us in a different way!" Yet Benny shrugged, not convinced.

Determined to help, Bluey gathered all the animals together. “Everyone, let’s change the game!” she suggested. "Benny is great at hiding! How about we play hide and seek instead?" Slowly, smiles spread across their faces as they agreed. Benny perked up, his face lighting up with joy! They began to play, and Benny found the perfect hiding spot, making everyone giggle when they couldn’t find him! As they played, Benny felt included and loved, realizing his unique abilities were special just like every one of their talents. Bluey felt proud knowing she had helped her friend delight in the moment.

As the sun began to set beyond the hills, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, Bluey and her friends gathered around Benny, who couldn’t stop smiling. They all shared stories of their favorite hiding spots and laughed together, their hearts warm with friendship. Bluey realized how important it is to understand and embrace each other's feelings, and they all promised to help one another whenever they could. Tired from a wonderful day, the little animals snuggled close, ready to drift off into sweet dreams, thankful for their special bond.
